Banedanmark in Ringsted upgraded both acoustics and aesthetics with DAMPA® Silent Board
When Banedanmark opened its new headquarters in Ringsted, it quickly became clear that the existing solutions did not meet the acoustic requirements. In a collaboration between Henning Larsen and DAMPA, the office was transformed into a more pleasant, functional, and visually harmonious working environment.
Acoustics That Make a Difference
Office environments place high demands on both functionality and comfort. At Banedanmark, it became evident how poor acoustic conditions affected employees' and visitors' well-being and concentration. Therefore, the choice fell on DAMPA® Silent Board, which contributes to noticeable improvements with its effective Class A sound-absorbing properties.
Silent Board reduces reverberation and disturbing noise through three integrated sound absorbers. The result is improved conversation conditions, especially in communal areas such as the canteen and corridors, and a generally more comfortable space to spend time in.

Modular Design Adapted to the Room
The project included the installation of 413 acoustic wall panels in two module sizes: 600x1200 mm and 600x1800 mm. This makes it possible to work flexibly with the space and tailor the acoustics to the function of each area.
The steel supports the building's industrial architecture and ensures a robust, low-maintenance surface.
